Hasbro held a panel this morning at New York Comic Con 2025 where they announced new Star Wars action figures for the Retro Collection, The Vintage Collection and The Black Series line. Have a look below for more information.
The Star Wars brand team showed one new 3 3/4" Retro Collection figure which was Garindan, a figure Kenner never made during the original run. It was mentioned that more are to follow and it was hinted at that the 50th anniversary of Star Wars will be in 2027... so we will see more Retro Collection figures in the future. Hasbro's press release did not include an image of the figure, unfortunately.
Hasbro showed two 3 3/4" Vintage Collection figures during the panel, one was Padme Amidala and the other one was Shaak Ti. Both had been pipeline revealed previously and are expected to be out sometime in 2026. The msrp in the press release says they'll each cost $19.99.
The Black Series will see a new version of Boba Fett in his Daimyo outfit (Fan Channel exclusive), Kyle Katarn from the Dark Forces video game, and a two pack with a Purge Trooper and Patrol Trooper (Walmart exclusive).
The press release did not include images or release information about Kyle Katarn.
And that's a wrap for New York Comic Con 2025, thank you to Hasbro for providing the images and figure information for this article.
