The Toy Association has unveiled the finalists for the 2026 Toy of the Year® Awards, and the Disney Parks exclusive Starspeeder 1000 Star Tours vehicle playset has been nominated in the prestigious Playset Toy of the Year category. This detailed Starspeeder 1000 is designed for 3 3/4-inch Star Wars action figures and brings the Star Tours attraction experience from Disney Parks straight into Star Wars toy collections. Public voting for the 2026 Toy of the Year Awards is open now, and fans can support the Starspeeder 1000 in the Playset Toy of the Year category by casting a vote on ToyAwards.org through January 7, 2026. Each person can vote once per category, so if you want to see this Starspeeder 1000 vehicle playset take home a Toy of the Year win, make sure to get your vote in.

One thing that stands out when you look over the full list of Toy of the Year finalists is who is not there. Despite holding the Star Wars master toy license and controlling the main Star Wars action figure lines, Hasbro did not secure a single Star Wars nomination in any Toy of the Year category this year — no figures, no vehicles, no playsets.
