An Overview Of Clone Commandos For The Black Series

1/8/2026 The Black Series Clone Commandos

While adding the latest Clone Commando (Urban Fighter) from 2025 to the website, we thought it would be a good opportunity to give fellow collectors a brief overview of the Clone Commandos previously released by Hasbro in the Black Series 6" line.

If the Black Series 6" line isn't your thing and you prefer the 3 3/4" line, have a look here at all the 3 3/4" Clone Commando figures released already.

Let’s rewind to March 2022, when Hasbro finally introduced Clone Commandos to the Black Series, in particular the fan favorite DELTA SQUAD from the Star Wars: Republic Commando video game! The first release was RC-1138, better known as Boss, which was offered as a GameStop exclusive. Boss was followed by RC-1207, also known as Sev, which was also released as a GameStop-exclusive Black Series figure. Collectors, however, had to wait an additional five months, until August 2022, before Sev made his way onto shelves.

A few months later, in November of the same year, Sev was followed by Fixer, which marked the third Republic Commando Black Series figure in the lineup. The final member of the squad arrived on GameStop shelves in March 2023, a full year after the first crew member had been released.

Since Hasbro already had the Black Series Clone Commando sculpt, it was reused to release an all-white version as seen in the animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch. This particular release was exclusive to Walmart and became available through its online store in September 2023. The most recent Clone Commando followed in 2025 as an Amazon-exclusive figure based on the Star Wars: Battlefront II video game.

For collectors who collect MIB and keep Black Series figures in their original packaging, there is a noticeable and unfortunate inconsistency across the Delta Squad releases. Boss, Fixer, and Sev were packaged in the traditional window-style boxes, allowing the figure to be viewed inside. Scorch, however, was released in plastic-free packaging, preventing any view of the figure. Adding to the mismatch, the side mural is fragmented, as these figures were part of the Gaming Greats lineup and were interspersed with characters from other video games rather than presented as a unified squad.

And there you have it, those are all the Clone Commandos released so far in Hasbro's Star Wars: The Black Series 6" line as of January 2026. For a closer look check out the figure entries for each figure to learn more:

Here is more background information about Clone Commandos: Clone Commandos are elite special forces troopers in the Star Wars universe, bred and trained for covert operations, sabotage, and high-risk missions beyond the capabilities of standard clone troopers. Distinguished by their heavier Katarn-class armor and uniquely designed helmets with elongated visors and reinforced plating, Clone Commandos were equipped for battlefield versatility and independent action. They first appeared in 2005 with the release of the video game Star Wars: Republic Commando, which introduced characters such as Boss, Sev, Fixer, and Scorch to a wider audience. Since then, Clone Commandos have become fan favorites, later appearing in The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch, where their role as highly specialized soldiers within the Grand Army of the Republic was further expanded.
