A Look At The Miniso Pop-Up Store

MINISO has launched a new Star Wars-inspired collection in May, timed alongside the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian And Grogu. The new assortment includes more than 120 products across collectibles, accessories, apparel, plush toys, blind boxes, homeware, pet apparel and other lifestyle items. All images featured in this article were taken at the Alderwood Mall MINISO location in the Seattle area.

The collection is rolling out globally through MINISO stores, but North American fans are also getting a dedicated pop-up tour with several themed retail activations. The pop-up experience includes an oversized Grogu inflatable, movie-inspired visual walls which wrap around the booth and character-themed photo opportunities under the campaign theme “Unleash the Force of Fun.”

Grogu Leads The Way

As expected, Grogu appears to be a major focus of the new collection. The lineup includes Grogu-themed designs, blind box collectibles, magnetic shoulder-sitting plush companions, pop-up-limited vinyl figures and MINISO-exclusive Star Wars character keycap blind boxes.

While this is not a traditional action figure launch, it is another reminder of how strong Grogu remains in the broader Star Wars merchandise world. From plush items to collectibles and lifestyle products, the little guy continues to carry a lot of retail power.

North American Pop-Up Tour Dates

The North American pop-up tour began at Woodfield Mall in the Chicago area on May 9 and is scheduled to continue through several major shopping centers in the United States and Canada.

• American Dream Mall, New York/New Jersey area: May 16 through June 7, 2026
• Alderwood Mall, Seattle area: May 21 through June 14, 2026
• Square One, Toronto: May 22 through June 21, 2026

The Alderwood Mall stop is especially interesting for collectors in the Seattle area, and the images shown here give a look at that specific location. Local fans can check out the new Star Wars x MINISO items in person without waiting for a larger convention or Disney Parks-style retail drop. We had a great time walking through the booth and checking out all the Star Wars love, from T-shirts, model kits and door mats, there was a healthy variety of all sorts of Star Wars products on hand.
