The Retro Collection

The Star Wars team didn't show any new Retro Collection products, but they did give us a scope for 2027, and it looks like we can look forward to 28 figures, with three items being larger! The graphic below is what they showed during the panel.

The Vintage Collection

Just a day prior to the Hasbro panel at San Diego Comic Con Hasbro revealed a repainted X-Wing fighter in Kenner colors which will include a repainted Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 figure.

Hasbro continues to support the Mandalorian and Grogu movie with three additional releases, the Amani Guard, Rotta The Hutt and the Imperial Warlord Commander Barro with the INT-4 Interceptor vehicle!

The Battle Of Geonosis continues to be a centerpoint for Hasbro in 2026 and new versions of Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, the B1 Battle Droid Commander, the Super Battle Droid and Obi-Wan Kenobi will join the fight later this year.

The Black Series

The biggest surprise about the Black Series line which came out of the Hasbro panel on Friday was that the packaging will change! Good-bye Mural line, and hello there ... to whatever the new line will be called. One thing we noticed is that the THE in THE BLACK SERIES is gone in the logo, and it's just now referred to as BLACK SERIES. The first figure shown was Queen Amidala from Episode I which will be released some time in 2027, a preorder date or price was not announced.

The first reveal of a Black Series figure came through Sithlord229 on YouTube of an Amazon exclusive Clone Trooper "Load-Out Pack" which lets you customize and configure a generic Clone Trooper. In addition to the Clone Trooper Hasbro also revealed that Embo will be released together with a Kaibu, and that the line will get an AT-RT with AT-RT driver based on the Mandalorian And Grogu movie.

Maul: Shadow Lord played a big part this year with several releases including a clean version of Marrok, Icarus, and the Mandalorian Super Commando Kebris. For fans of the Clone Wars Hasbro will release Mother Talzin and Gar Saxon, while Ahsoka Tano will be packaged together with Clone Trooper Jesse. And last but not least, Rotta The Hutt will be released in the Black Series 6" line. 

2027 & Beyond

Even though the Hasbro Star Wars team didn't reveal any figures for 2027, they did mention that the Retro Collection will have 28 figures, and three larger items. They also mentioned that they will honor HasLabs and will support each one in 2027 with some figures, which indicates that we might see some TVC figures for the Sail Barge, the Razor Crest, the Ghost, the Mos Eisley Cantina and the Gunship.
