R8-26 Is The November Droid In Disney's Build-A-Droid Series

Disney has revealed R8-26 from Star Wars: Tales of the Empire for its 3¾-inch Droid Factory lineup, with a release scheduled for November 6, 2026, at 8 AM Pacific / 11 AM Eastern. Meet R8-26

Known as R8 in the episode The Path of Hate this astromech accompanies New Republic ambassador Nadura to Corvus on a mission to end Morgan Elsbeth’s rule. When the diplomatic visit turns violent, Nadura orders R8 to transmit a distress signal. The message reaches Bo-Katan Kryze, helping expose the danger facing the people of Corvus.

With a brief but meaningful role in the animated series, R8-26 gives collectors another supporting character to add to their growing astromech lineup.
