The Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Orray & Geonosian Picador set was released in August 2026 for $79.99 through the Fan Channel. This release marked the first time an Orray and wagon set had ever been produced in Hasbro's modern 3 3/4-inch action figure line. The set was released as part of Hasbro's larger Battle of Geonosis theme for 2026 which built around the HasLab Republic Gunship as the centerpiece.

The Orray & Geonosian Picador set comes packaged in an Attack of the Clones-themed box which fits right in with previous AOTC items in TVC. The packaging features a large image of the complete set on the front, with additional images of the Orray, wagon and Geonosian Picador on the sides and back of the box.
The Geonosian Picador is included on its own Vintage Collection card inside the box. The card looks fantastic, but collectors who want to incorporate the Picador into the display will naturally have to remove the figure from the card.

There is almost no assembly required, and the entire set can be put together within a minute or two. There are no stickers to apply and there was no instruction sheet included.
The display stand plugs directly into the bottom of the wagon. The reins are then connected between the wagon and the Orray. There are two small removable plastic pieces on the Orray, one on each side, which can be unplugged so that the reins can be securely attached to the beast.

The Orray turned out beautifully. The sculpt captures the creature's appearance in the Geonosian arena, and the paint application complements the sculpt nicely. The beast is also surprisingly well articulated. The mouth can be opened, the head can be tilted and the articulation throughout the body allows the Orray to be placed in a variety of different poses. This gives us quite a few options when adding it into a larger Geonosis display.

The saddle is sculpted directly onto the Orray and cannot be removed. The Geonosian Picador can be placed on top of the saddle to ride the Orray, he fits loosely, but it works quite well overall.

The wagon has enough room for two 3 3/4-inch figures to stand comfortably inside. There are no hidden compartments, removable sections or breakaway panels built into it. It would have been nice to have a little storage compartment for the two small plastic pieces which need to be unplugged from the Orray when the rains are attached into each side (now they likely end up loosely lying around inside the wagon).

The included display stand is particularly useful because it offers three different height options depending on which side is plugged into the bottom of the wagon. Each side of the stand has a ball end which when plugged in lets you tilt the wagon in different directions.
The included Geonosian Picador looks great and can be incorporated into the set in several different ways. Besides riding on top of the Orray's saddle, the figure can also be positioned at the front of the wagon. We would have liked to see a better paint application on the figure with different shades of the reptilian skin color, but it's mostly one color only without a wash or slight dirt for more realism.

Having the Picador included with the set was important as it completes the set itself. If you want to build it out based on the Geonosian Arena sequence you'll have to get Anakin and Padme separately.
The Orray & Geonosian Picador set is a wonderful addition to The Vintage Collection and brings something genuinely new to the 3 3/4-inch line. The Orray is beautifully sculpted, nicely painted and well articulated, while the adjustable display stand and wagon provide plenty of different display possibilities.

All things considered, this is a beautifully executed set which we highly recommend. It's great to see Hasbro explore something that has never been done before in the 3 3/4-inch line, and hopefully we'll see more releases like this in the future. Make sure you add this one to your collection, it's great!
