This Cad Bane with Pirate Speeder Bike was released in the Clone Wars Deluxe line in July 2010. Bounty Hunter Cad Bane could be seen in the Clone Wars animated TV show in various episodes.
Bane has 12 points of articulation, including a ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 swivel wrists, a swivel waist, 2 swivel legs and 2 ball-jointed knees. The only joints missing are in both ankles. Besides the basic stand, die and character game card, Hasbro included 5 accessories with the figure, a hat, 2 blasters, a blaster rifle, and a shoulder pouch. The blasters are a perfect match for both hands and the holsters, and even though Bane can hold the blaster rifle, it looks cooler when it's stored on the Speeder Bike. The hat fits well enough to not be annoying, and the pouch can easily be thrown over the shoulder or taken off. To sum it up, all accessories fit pretty well.
The paint job on Cad Bane is nicely done, with very subtle weathering on the back and front of the shirt and a cleanly painted face with the teeth showing. Aesthetically, the figure looks great and to top it all off, Bane fits perfectly onto the included and awesome looking Speeder Bike! If you are into collecting Clone Wars figures, you'll want to add this version of Cad Bane to your collection!
Cad Bane avoids his pursuers on a pirate's speeder bike. The bounty hunter forms a temporary alliance with a pirate gang to further his own selfish interests. When his business with the gang is finished, he takes his leave of the thugs, and also takes one of their speeder bikes as part of his payment.
