Dark Lord Darth Nihl was released in an Entertainment Earth exclusive comic 2-pack together with Deliah Blue. The set was originally to be released during The Legacy Collection, but wasn't released until The Legacy Collection had already ended. However, the packaging was still in the red Legacy-style, and even said Legacy Collection on the packaging when online retailer Entertainment Earth sold this set in November/December 2010. The figure is based on Darth Nihl, who had several appearances in the Star Wars comic book series "LEGACY".
Darth Nihl is super articulated with 14 joints, including ball-joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. The wrists, the waist and both legs were given swivel joints. The sith lord's stance can easily be adjusted thanks to ball-jointed knees and ankles. The only weapon included with Darth Nihl was his red lightsaber with a long handle. The handle fits very well into either of the figure's hands, and Darth Nihl can even grab it with both hands at the same time. The red blade is removable, so Darth Nihl can be displayed with either an ignited or turned off lightsaber. Darth Nihl's upper body armor and shoulder pieces are not removable.
The paint application on Darth Nihl looks simple at first with mainly black and gray colors, but looking closer, you'll notice quite a few very well painted details. For example, the patterns in the rip-cage area, the arms and even the face look great. The Sith eyes are painted very cleanly and the red spikes on the back of the figure are cool too. The super articulated sculpt is nice and comes close to how the character appeared in the comic book series. This Darth Nihl is an overall well done figure, and if you need an additional, never-before-done and super articulated Sith Lord in your collection, then you might want to consider adding Darth Nihl to it!
A powerful Sith warrior and a savvy ship's mechanic are caught up in the attack on Princess Marasiah Fel. Darth Nihl battles Cade Skywalker, the son of a Jedi that Nihl killed in the Massacre at Ossus. Deliah Blue repairs the Mynock so that its crew, the Jedi and the gravely wounded princess can flee the attacking Sith.
