Every now and then Hasbro surprises Star Wars collectors with especially nice figures. This is one of these cases. The WED Treadwell droid was seen only very briefly in ANH during the sale by the Jawas at the Lars Homestead.

The droid has 8 removable and movable arms, and each arm has removable/movable tools attached to it. The center base of the droid can be rotated. The middle pole can also be rotated as well as its upper part. Overall, this is a fantastic release, not only gives it collectors the opportunity to expand on the Tatooine scene, but this droid makes also for a very nice background character in almost any diorama!

The Jawas come to the Lars homestead to offer droids for sale. One of the droids they show Owen Lars is a WED Treadwell droid, a common utility droid with multiple manipulator arms and goggle-like photoreceptors on a telescoping neck.

Take your figure and find the date stamp on it (look on the back of the thighs, bottom of the feet etc...)
If you can't find a year printed on the figure check if it has a 5 digit number printed on it, enter it below and we'll pull up all the figures in the database which has the same number.
