MORE INFORMATION

  • This 3.75" astromech droid BT-1 was released on July 19, 2018 in the United States exclusively at San Diego Comic Con
  • The figure was packed in special vintage-inspired packaging together with Dr. Aphra and 0-0-0
  • For this release Hasbro used their build-a-droid mold (not to be confused with the Disney Build-A-Droid series) so the dome, both outer legs, the middle leg and the body can be separated
  • Once the dome is taken off the inner workings in the body are revealed
  • The laser which sticks out of the dome can be taken off or rotated 360 degrees
  • The dome can be rotated 360 degrees (no clicking sound, and there is no functionality tied to rotating the dome)
  • The middle leg can easily be taken off or plugged into the droid
  • All three feet have small wheels in the bottom so that the droid can be rolled around
  • BT-1 came with two removable outer panels on the dome and two weapon accessories
  • Once the panels are removed the weapons can be plugged into the dome
  • The weapons have holes on the outside where the panels can be attached, this way there are no loose parts sitting next to the figure when its on display (nice!) The paint application looks great and the sculpt of the dome has all the details in it which BT-1 had in the Doctor Aphra comic book series
  • BT-1 has no balancing issues
  • Thank you to Hasbro for providing this figure for the database

PACKAGING TEXT

On a mission gone wrong, Doctor Aphra finds herself at the hands of the formidable Sith Lord, Darth Vader. A rare survivor of such meetings, Aphra is recruited by Vader for her skills in reprogramming droids and her apparent lack of remorse for breaking the law to get what she wants. After a brief checkered partnership with Darth Vader, Doctor Aphra escapes from the control of her dark supervisor and his clandestine agenda. Free of her obligations to Vader, Aphra ventures out with her assassin droids, 0-0-0 (Tripple Zero) and BT-1 (Beetee), and Wookiee bounty hunter Black Krrsantan in search of new opportunities, legal and otherwise. Though unafraid of using whatever means necessary to get what she wants, Doctor Aphra is careful to avoid additional entanglements with Darth Vader, understanding all too well the vast reaches of his unflinching power.
