MORE INFORMATION

This Padme Amidala figure was among the first Episode 1 action figures released back on May 3rd, 1999. The figure has 6 swivel joints and came with 2 blasters. Padme's hard plastic skirt is not removable and prevents the figure from being able to sit down (i.e. to fit in a cockpit). The head sculpt turned out pretty good and it does look like Natalie Portman in the movie. Both blasters fit nicely into Queen Amidala's hands and the figure has a firm stand and no balancing problems. The paint application is done nicely as well. Overall it's a pretty good figure, which represents Queen Amidala as seen in The Phantom Menace quite well. For its time back in 1999 this was state-of-the-art sculpting and it still fits in pretty well with figures released 20+ years later.
