MORE INFORMATION

  • This Tie Fighter Pilot was released in September 2018 packed-in with a Tie Fighter vehicle exclusively at Walmart
  • The mold for this figure has been used several times over the years but there were quite some changes made to this release including:
    • The head is glued into the helmet and not removable
    • Once you pop the helmet off the socket you can see the fully sculpted and black head inside
    • The Imperial insignias on both shoulders are bigger than on previous releases
  • For a list of Tie Fighter pilots go here: Toolbox - Pilots - Tie Fighter Pilots
  • This Tie Fighter pilot has a total of 12 joints lacking ankle articulation and, as seen on newer 2018 Vintage Collection figures, swivel thighs
  • The chest box can be unplugged from the chest but it's permanently attached to the helmet
  • The blaster fits doesn't fit well into the holster, it's too big
  • The Tie Fighter pilot can hold the weapon well in both hands
  • We've experienced no balancing problems with the figure
  • The paint application was done well with glossy black on the armor and its parts, and a matte black on the overall
  • The included Tie Fighter vehicle looks amazing, the wings are big and it seems to be in scale with a 3 3/4" figure
  • The chair inside the Tie Fighter can be taken out which makes it very easy to get the pilot seated perfectly
  • Both wings attach nicely to the cockpit
  • There are two buttons, one on each side on the top of the cockpit, press them and the wings will detach and fly off the cockpit
  • There are two projectiles on the front of the cockpit which can be pulled out manually
  • The projectiles were painted in a realistic way instead of giving it a green or red action color
  • All in all this Tie Fighter is a great looking vehicle with appropriately sized wings and a great addition to any collection
