MORE INFORMATION

Captain Lorth Needa was released in The Legacy Collection in April/May of 2009. Needa could be seen being chocked to death by Darth Vader in the Empire Strikes Back.

The figure features 14 joints, and comes with a blaster, a removable imperial hat and a removable imperial insignia. Captain Needa has the typical peg holes in his feet, but the figure stands securely without any additional help. The blaster fits nicely into both of Needa's hands. The hat sits firmly on the head and is not going to fall off every time you re-adjust the figure's position. The Imperial rank insignia on the left of Needa's uniform matches the movie counter part. It can be attached or detached from the uniform, it overall feels a bit bulky.

The paint application is simple but o.k., but the face sculpt is very well done and is pretty close to Captain Needa's face. Unfortunately, it's not possible to have Needa positioned in a way so that he grabs his own throat, re-enacting the scene where Darth Vader chocked him to death. Overall though, this is a great looking figure of a character that has never been done before, and it'll make a great addition to your Imperial Army!
