  • Han Solo (Kessel Mine Escape) was released together with the Kessel Mine Escape playset exclusively at Walmart
  • Walmart released the Kessel Mine Escape playset without any advertising on November 23rd, 2018 as a Black Friday surprise on their website
  • Just like the Target exclusive Vandor-1 Heist playset, this Walmart exclusive set comes with a Star Wars figure, some accessories and very stiff cardboard pieces which need to be assembled
  • The Kessel Mine Escape included 2 figure stands, 4 pegs (which on one side work as figure stands), 1 coaxium container, 2 plastic support pieces which hold the base together, 7 piece cannon (1 cannon, 3 legs, 1 middle piece, 2 projectiles), 5 sheets of playboard
  • The Han Solo figure included with the Kessel Mine Escape set is identical to the Han Solo figure which was packed-in with the Millennium Falcon vehicle (same sculpt, same Force Link 2.0 voice samples). The only difference is the paint application on the boots of this figure which were given slight Kessel dirt
  • Here is a comparison image of both Han Solo figures next to each other
  • Here you can compare both figures from all angles with our comparison tool
  • Here is a close-up of the different paint applications on the boots (Kessel Playset Han on the right)
  • Han Solo and the included Coaxium containers were Force Link 2.0 enabled, you can listen to the voice samples and the container sounds here on this page
  • The coaxium container is unique to the Kessel Mine Escape set and is much bigger than the one included with the Millennium Falcon
  • The blaster fits well into both of Han Solo's hands, it only fits so-so into the holster
  • Hasbro gave Han Solo swivel wrists which makes this a seven points of articulation figure
  • There are no removable pieces on the outfit
  • The paint application in the face was sloppily applied but this is not noticable in person
  • This Han Solo figure was sculpted well and captures the likeness of Han Solo from Solo: A Star Wars Story very well
  • The Kessel Mine Escape playset looks great assembled (it took about 20 minutes) and it can be used on the front and the back
  • The imagery looks fantastic, it's a throwback to Kenner 70's and 80's style graphics which spark the imagination!
  • We are big fans of cardboard playsets, they make great display pieces for collectors at a great price ($39.99) and give kids a place to re-enact scenes from the movies<

There was no packaging text or character biography on the back of the packaging.
