General Whorm Loathsom was introduced to Star Wars fans in the Clone Wars movie, leading a droid army into the Battle Of Christophsis. The figure was released in July 2009 and featured 10 joints. It came with two weapons and a removable hard-plastic cape. The blaster can be held by Loathsom with both hands, but the firing missile launcher causes some problems. The cape snaps right into a hole in the back. Unfortunately, the figure has some balancing problems, simply because of the small feet. The scale of this figure seems to be about right, and Whorm Loathsom's uniform looks just like it did in the Clone Wars movie. All in all, this Whorm Loathsom action figure is a great example that figures don't always need to have 14+ joints. This figure can easily be recommended, because it looks great on display, it has not been done before, and it'll add some variety to your Separatist army!

Separatist General Whorm Loathsom meets with Obi-Wan Kenobi to accept the Jedi General's surrender on Christophsis. Loathsom grows angry when the discussion drags on and, with his immense strength, throws a heavy table aside. He demands an end to the proceedings, which he gets, but it's not the conclusion he is expecting.
