  • This Tusken Raider figure was part of a Battle Pack which was sold exclusively at Toys'R'Us in April 2007
  • There were two different Tusken Raider Battle Packs available at the same time, both included the same figures but one set had figures in it with significantly different paint applications
  • The set included five figures and a Bantha creature
  • The other figures can be found here: Tusken Raider, Tusken Raider female, Tusken Raider child, Massiff
  • The set was based on the Tusken Raider camp as seen in Attack Of The Clones
  • This Tusken Raider figure is a re-paint of the Tusken Raider figure from the Vintage Saga Collection from 2006
  • The figure came with a Gaffi stick which fits well into both hands
  • Even though this Tusken Raider figure is well articulated, it's missing ball-jointed hips which would have helped to place it better on top of the Bantha's saddle
  • The dark brown color on the soft-goods parts and on the figure makes it easy to differentiate from previous releases
  • The swivel joints in the elbows are annoying, the forearms popped out of the socket several times while re-positioning the figure
  • The fabrics robe works overall well but it will take time to make it look less bulky
  • The soft-goods skirt can be taken off the Tusken Raider
  • We've experienced no balancing issues with the figure
  • Looking at this figure in 2019, 12 years after this figure was released, we have to say that it holds up remarkably well overall with modern figures, add ball-jointed elbows and hips and then there is nothing left to complain about :)

Native lifeforms on Tatooine must adjust to the harsh desert conditions if they are to survive. The Tusken Raiders have carved a place for themselves in the barren Jundland Wastes, from which they emerge to raid colonist communities with deadly ferocity. To ride from place to place, they use banthas, a docile species that is easily trained and carries the fierce Tuskens swiftly through the desert.

These fierce desert savages keep to themselves and are a terrifying presence to the colonists that live on Tatooine. Swathed from head to toe in rags and robes, Tusken Raiders brandish their bladed clubs called gaderffii sticks with menacing skill. Also known as Sand People, these aggressive nomads dwell in the rocky Jundland Wastes of Tatooine and ride single file on banthas to conceal their numbers.
