• This Elite Series Die-Cast R4-G9 astromech droid was released single boxed exclusively at Disney Stores in January 2019
• This astromech droid is a repainted Elite Series Die-Cast R2-D2 figure (that's a good thing!)
• In order to get the middle leg in and out of the droid it can be pushed all the way into the body until it snaps into place, push it in again and it loosens so that it can be pulled out and extended all the way
• R4-G9's dome can be rotated 360° (it doesn't trigger any functionality)
• There are no hidden panels or gadgets built into R4-G9
• There are no wheels in the bottom of the feet
• R4-G9 is an odd choice to release because it was only briefly seen in Revenge Of The Sith (the droid flew with Obi-Wan to Utapau)
• The bronze/golden color on the astromech droid looks cool
• R4-G9 stands well on display without any balancing issues
• Side note: Disney dropped the price by $2 for this figure compared to other Elite Series Die-Cast figures released one year earlier in 2018

R4-G9 is a bronze-domed astromech droid that is stationed at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. She is briefly assigned to Obi-Wan Kenobi when he begins flying a new class of starfighter, while his regular droid is being adapted to fit the new ship. Kenobi uses R4-G9 again on his crucial mission to Utapau.
