MORE INFORMATION

  • Darth Plagueis - who was mentioned by Palpatine in Revenge Of The Sith when he talked to Anakin in the Opera House - was given a background story - which was told in the well received Star Wars: Darth Plagueis novel by James Luceno from early 2012
  • Almost two years after the novel came out - Hasbro released this Darth Plagueis individually carded
  • The figure is able to hold the red lightsaber and the staff well in both hands
  • The breathing mask is surprisingly tough to put on the figure - and it fits only loosely
  • Darth Plagueis has a vest underneath the robe which can be taken off
  • There is no articulation in the waist
  • Plagueis is thin and tall - and the figure stands about half a head to a full head taller than regular Star Wars figures
  • Hasbro sculpted the figure beautifully - and the figure is able to keep its balance nicely without a display stand
  • The soft-goods Sith robe fits well - except the hood doesn't want to sit right
  • The figure would look much nicer if the hood would be closer to the head - here is hoping that one day Hasbro brings back soft-goods robes which have wires in them - so that Collectors have more control over the look
  • Overall - Darth Plagueis is nicely painted and sculpted - and makes a wonderful addition to the expanded universe line-up of figures
