MORE INFORMATION

  • This generic Battle Droid figure was released together with another Battle Droid on a single card in Hasbro's SAGA Legends toy line in 2007
  • The other figure was the Battle Droid Commander
  • Both droids use the same sculpt and are identical except for the paint application
  • The SAGA Legends sub-line was a Greatest Hits assortment which included fan favorite and previously released figures
  • Every SAGA Legends figure during the 30th Anniversary Collection in 2007/2008 included a collectible coin
  • This Battle Droid came with a blaster rifle and a backpack
  • The backpack plugs firmly into a hole in the back of the figure
  • The blaster can be attached to the right side of the backpack which works well
  • The droid can hold well in both hands
  • The plastic used for the figure is very soft and bends easily unfortunately and the petite nature of the legs makes it a challeng to display the figure properly without having it fall over constantly
  • Hasbro painted the Battle Droid well, there is lots of dirt and weathering on it which gives it a more life-like appearance and makes this droid unique from other releases

PACKAGING TEXT

The Separatists utilize battle droids as their primary infantry forces. When assaulting strategically important worlds, these droid forces can be painted with special markings to help them blend into their environment. Though not individually a threat, attacking en masse these droids can become a formidable fighting force.
