The figure is a re-release of the Dak Ralter figure from the 2010 The Vintage Collection
There are paint and material differences between both figures - which appear to be factory related or simply due to a four year production pause between both releases
The biggest difference is found on the head: the tiny heat bubbles in the plastic on the first figure's head are gone - and the plastic this time around is smooth and painted closer to resemble a human's face color
Unfortunately the helmet insignia on this review sample was painted very sloppily and was partially located on the visor -> HASBRO! :(
The chest box is permanently attached with a cable hanging from it that can be plugged into the flight suit
The rifle fits OK in both of Dak's hands - but the blaster sits very loosely and Dak just can't get a good grip on it
The helmet is a great fit and covers the entire head nicely
There is a little bit of wiggle room - and the helmet can be adjusted so that the visor covers the eyes and the chin strap sits on top of the chin
Dak Ralter has no balancing issues
Is it worth getting again if you own the previous The Vintage Collection figure? Not really - although this version (insignia issue aside) seems to be a bit nicer overall
