This General Grievous figure is based on a previously released version of Grievous from 2005. It was re-released as a Walmart exclusive in August 2009 together with astromech droid CB-3D. The figure has 11 joints total, lacking a waist articulation and joints in the elbows and ankles.

This Grievous figure has all four arms extended, but unfortunately neither of them has any joints. His hands are a bit too wide, so the four included lightsabers sit very loosely in them. It's a bit frustrating trying to get this figure to stand right, and have it look somewhat good because the weapons keep falling out of the hands, or are in each others way. General Grievous' feet are a bit small, and don't give a lot of stability to the figure. Luckily Hasbro included peg holes in his feet so he can be placed on a stand.

The paint application adds a rusty and used look to the figure. The best feature of this figure is the cape. It fits quite well and is made out of a thicker material, making the General look a bit more menacing. It doesn't justify buying the figure again if you already own the previously released version, but it's a nice added accessory. All in all, the figure falls a bit short with no joints in his arms, balancing issues, and the weapons don't fit well in his hands.

In the comic Star Wars: General Grievous, the cyborg general has dark plans for a group of innocent young Padawans. At the same time, the astromech droid CB-3D assists a rogue team including the droid's master Flynn Kybo, on a mission to hunt and eliminate Grievous.
