MORE INFORMATION

  • This Black Series Probe Droid was released in April 2020 in the Deluxe line
  • The Probe Droid came with a display stand and a clear see-through pole which lets the droid "float" in the air
  • The two antennas on the top of the head can be pulled out further, but they can't retract all the way into the dome
  • The head and the body can be rotated 360° independently from one another
  • There are five arms on the Probe Droid, each of them can rotate 360° and move up and down by the "shoulder"
  • Each arm also has an elbow joint which allows for up and down movement
  • The arms also have claws which can be moved up and down, but none of them can be closed to grab something
  • There are two arms which have two additional joints in the middle which allows for extra up and down movement
  • The display stand looks nice and it keeps the droid up in the air floating
  • There are no removable panels or parts on the Probe Droid
  • The body was painted quite well with rust and scratches on it
  • The arms could have been painted better, only three out of the five were given a little rust but mostly they look like they are unpainted grey plastic
  • This Black Series Probe Droid was released just right before the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back in 2020, which made it a fun piece to add to the collection to commemorate the movie
