MORE INFORMATION

  • The other figures in this set were K-3PO, R5-M2, Han Solo and a Probe Droid
  • The figure is a repaint of the 1997 released Probe Droid
  • This time the Probe Droid was painted in silver with a nicely applied wash which gives it a used appearance
  • All five arms can be rotated thanks to ball-joints attached to the body
  • None of the arms have "elbows" or movable parts
  • The antenna in the dome can be unplugged
  • Via a button on top of the dome the projectile can be shot out
  • The head can be taken off the body
  • This version of the Probe Droid is a nice repaint of the 11 years earlier released Probe Droid figure

PACKAGING TEXT

While on a routine patrol, Han and Chewie investigate the source of a strange signal, and discover an Imperial probe droid, which immediately fires upon the pair. When Han returns fire, the droid self-destructs – but not before it tells the Empire where the Rebel's base is located. As the Alliance begins an immediate evacuation of Echo Base, R2-M5 helps coordinate plans and K-3PO provides tactical support to hold back the Imperial forces.
