This carbonized Boba Fett figure was released single boxed exclusively through the Fan Channel in August 2020
The figure was part of Hasbro's 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back celebration
For this figure Hasbro repainted the previously released Black Series Boba Fett from 2013
Boba Fett came with a blaster rifle, a blaster and a removable jet-pack
Boba's helmet is not removable
The range-finder on the helmet is static and can't be moved
The jetpack plugs firmly into a hole in the back of the figure
The rocket in the jetpack is not removable
The soft-goods cape, the chest armor, the belt and the pouches are not removable
The figure is able to hold both weapons well in the hands (with patience the index finger can be placed onto the trigger which looks great)
The basic blaster fits well into the holster
Boba Fett's carbonized paint application looks pretty cool and it makes for a nice display piece (in and out of the packaging)
The Boba Fett figure reviewed here had stiff joints (just like all previous versions), which allowed for it to be displayed in more dynamic battle poses
Overall this Carbonized Boba Fett figure is nicely detailed and the paint application makes it a fun celebratory figure for the 40th of Empire
