- This R2-Q5 astromech droid was released in a multipack titled Galactic Empire in October 2020
- The other figures in this set were a Stormtrooper Squad Leader, Biker Scout, Tie Fighter Pilot and Snowtrooper
- This version of R2-Q5 is based on a sculpt which was first used for R2-D2 in 2015
- There is no middle leg and the ankles on the two outer legs are not articulated
- The dome can be rotated 360° but it doesn't trigger any functionality
- One of the front panels on R2-Q5 can be opened, which then lets you manually pull out one of R2-Q5's arms
- The sculpt feels outdated and five steps back from the Build-A-Droid sculpt which was established by Hasbro in 2008 (12 years ago as of this release)
- This version of R2-Q5 doesn't feel like an improvement to the 19 year older R2-Q5 figure, which was more appropriately scaled, had a high glossy finish, a middle leg and came with a Death Star hologram
