MORE INFORMATION

  • The Range Trooper (Holiday Edition) was released in November 2020 exclusively through Target stores
  • The Range Trooper was bundled together with a Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer version of D-0
  • The figure is a rework and repaint of the Black Series Range Trooper from 2018
  • For this release the faux fur around the neck was replaced with a plastic version and the figure was painted in Santa Claus colors
  • Instead of a blaster the Range Trooper comes with a translucent blade weapon which was originally included with the 2019 SDCC exclusive version of the Sith Trooper
  • There are no removable parts on this figure
  • There is no head underneath the helmet
  • The blade weapon fits into both hands
  • The ankles are swivel jointed and right between the shoes and the shins is an additional armor plate which can be moved up and down
  • The Range Trooper stands well on display without falling over
  • The idea of Holiday themed figures is fun and we've seen Holiday themed figures in the 3 3/4" line since 2002
  • For this particular release however a Range Trooper feels like an odd choice for Santa Claus (how about Palpatine or Vader?) and instead of including a blade weapon a sack of toys hanging over the shoulder would have been more appropriate
