MORE INFORMATION

  • This Vintage Collection Princess Leia Organa (Endor) figure was released single carded in May 2021 exclusively at Walmart stores
  • The figure was part of Hasbro's celebration of Lucasfilm's 50th anniversary and featured the Lucasfilm logo on the card
  • This Leia figure uses the body of the 2007 Princess Leia (Combat Poncho) figure together with a new head, new soft-goods material for the poncho, a new helmet and an updated paint application on the belt, poncho and ankle joints
  • The head looks fantastic with the photo real update and is a great improvement when compared to the 14 year older head
  • The Endor Trooper helmet fits well over Leia's head
  • The blaster is a good fit for the holster
  • The weapon fits well into Leia's right hand and it's possible to place the index finger onto the weapon's trigger (nice!)
  • The belt and the poncho can be taken off the figure (the belt unplugs in the back), this way Leia can be used for a Home One diorama or for Endor inspired displays
  • The soft-goods poncho feels premium when compared to the 2007 release, it's thinner and stays on the figure better without feeling overly bulky
  • The paint application and camoflauge pattern on the poncho looks much more accurate to the movie counterpart when compared to the 2007 release
  • The figure's body looks fine overall but the articulation is outdated when compared with brand new figures in 2021, there are no joints in the wrists or thighs, and the waist and hips only have swivel joints
  • The updated paint application on the belt looks good and the correct color on the ankle joints is a welcome addition
  • Despite the petite nature of the figure it manages to stand well on display without falling over
  • All in all this figure of Endor Leia is the best version available in the 3 3/4" line as of 2021, but when you take into consideration that the body used for the figure is over 14 years old it leaves us feeling disappointed that it wasn't updated fully with more articulation
  • Last but not least, the 2007 Leia Combat Poncho figure came on a more accurately designed Kenner card with a correctly sized bubble for the figure than what was done for the 2021 figure, have a look at the 2007 Endor Leia card here
  • Thank you to Hasbro for providing this figure for free for the database entry
