MORE INFORMATION
This Black Series Deluxe Cal Kestis figure was released single boxed in May 2021 exclusively at GameStop stores
The other figures in this set are a Bogling and BD-1
The figure captures the likeness of Cal Kestis from the first Jedi: Fallen Order video game
The figure is a repaint of the previously released Black Series Cal Kestis figure with additional accessories included
Cal Kestis came with a removable poncho, a red BD-1 figure, two plastic hoods (one up and one down), a Jedi holocron, two lightsabers (1 removable blue blade and 2 removable green blades) and a Bogling creature
The plastic poncho is easily removable
The back of the poncho has a small hole in it where BD-1 can be attached to (nice!)
Both lightsaber hilts fit well into Cal Kestis' hands
The translucent green holocron looks nice (but there is nothing you can do with it)
There were two plastic hoods included so you can display Cal with the hood up or with the hood down
The figure looks fantastic overall, it has the photo real print on the face and the color tone on the outfit matches the video game version well
It would have been nice to see weathering and dirt on the outfit and the lightsaber hilts which unfortunately isn't the case here
Cal Kestis stands well on display without falling over
This version of Cal Kestis turned out nicely, but it should have cost $25 and not $29.99, especially when you consider that Cal Kestis had been released together with BD-1 previously for $19.99
Are the inclusions of a double-bladed lightsaber, two plastic hoods, a Bogling, a poncho and a small holocron worth an extra $10? The answer is no, a $25 price point would have been more appropriate
