MORE INFORMATION

  • This Elite Squad Trooper figure was released single carded packed-in together in an Amazon exclusive 4-pack
  • The other figures in this set were Clone Captain Grey, Clone Captain Rex and Clone Captain Ballast
  • All four figures are based on the character's appearances in the Star Wars: Bad Batch TV series
  • Hasbro originally conceptualized this figure as a Clone Trooper with a removable helmet which had the same head sculpt as the other clones in this set
  • This was changed last minute however when it became clear that Elite Squad Troopers in the show were regular humans and not clone troopers
  • In January 2021 Hasbro's PR firm had sent images to GalacticFigures.com for an exclusive reveal for the Bad Batch 4-pack and it included an image of this figure without the helmet on
  • This reveal however got postponed and a new set of images were sent out later where the figure was not seen without the helmet on anymore
  • At the time it was unclear why the reveal was pushed back, but after the Bad Batch TV series launched on Disney+ it was clear that the Elite Squad Troopers were regular humans, and not clone troopers, and Hasbro needed to adjusted the figure (that's why you can still see the unpainted clone head underneath the helmet)
  • You can still find the original images of the figure without the helmet on in this Bad Batch YouTube video
  • This figure shares the same VC 211 number with the Mandalorian Maldo Kreis figure, a snaffu which maybe happened because of the late changes made to this figure during its production
  • The figure came with a blaster and a blaster rifle
  • Both weapons fit well into the trooper's hands
  • There are no removable parts on the armor
  • The armor was kept in a clean appearance
  • This super articulated Elite Squad Trooper stands well on display without falling over even in dynamic poses
