Clone Trooper Jek was featured in the very first TV episode of The Clone Wars called "Ambush", along with Master Yoda, Clone Trooper Rys and Lieutenant Thire. Jek was released in a Walmart exclusive 2-pack in September 2009 together with a Yoda figure.
Hasbro utilized the super articulated Clone Trooper mold for this figure, which means that Jek has 14 articulated joints, including ball-jointed wrists and a ball-jointed waist. With that many joints, you'll be able to pose this figure in any position you want it to be in, which is especially helpful for any kind of battle diorama set up on your shelves. The figure stands pretty safely on its own without the need of a stand. Jek came with six accessories, two blasters, a rocket launcher, a laser machine gun with projectile, an ammunition belt and a clone helmet. The helmet is very cleanly painted with red markings and fits well over Jek's head. Both hand blasters fit into the figure's hands tightly and they also fit nicely into both holsters. The ammunition belt can be placed around Jek's chest and then can be plugged into a little hole on the back of the figure. Luckily, the rocket launcher is not one of those big, bulky, projectile shooting kind of rocket launchers. It is in size when compared to all the other basic weapons and can be held by Jek quite well. The included laser machine gun, which Jek is seen firing a few times in the Ambush episode, can be held by the figure OK, but it's a bit too bulky and very likely will cause your clone trooper to loose balance and fall over.
All in all, this Clone Trooper Jek figure is pretty close to what the character looked like in the TV show. The most prominent difference is that Jek in the TV show looked pretty beat up and dirty, while this figure of him is all clean. However, the overall aesthetics of the character are captured very well, which makes this yet again another super articulated Clone Trooper figure that will surely please fans of the Clone Wars animated show.
Yoda, Lieutenant Thire and clone troopers Jek and Rys are ambushed by battle droids on Rugosa. The troopers doubt they can prevail since they are greatly outnumbered. Yoda helps Jek see that weapons do not necessarily mean victory and that the mind is also a powerful weapon that they can use to out-think the droids.
