• This Chewbacca figure was released single carded in a 6-pack during the Fall of 2022
• All six figures in this multipack are straight repacks of the ones previously released, but this time the packaging was made out of thicker cardstock and every carded figure came unpunched
• The set was a ShopDisney.com and HasbroPulse.com exclusive and cost $69.99 on both websites
• In late 2023 and going into 2024 this particular 6-pack could also be obtained through the fan channel (specialty online shops)
• The other figures in this set can be found archived on Galactic Figures here: Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia
• Hasbro scanned the original figure and captured all the details (and lack thereof) in this figure, right down to the size of the peg holes in the bottom of the feet
• There are some differences however, for example this new version of Chewbacca has shorter legs than the original version from 1978 in addition to updated copyright markings on the back of both legs
• We looked at this figure carefully to see if there are any differences in the fur and we can't make any changes out
• The bowcaster is also an exact replica of the original one, except it's a very shiny black
• If you find any other differences in the figure or in the bowcaster please post it in the comments below
• Unfortunately the bowcaster doesn't fit well into Chewbacca's right hand, it keeps falling down (this wasn't an issue with the original Kenner figure from 1978)
• Chewbacca leans slightly to the left but won't fall over
• The packaging was weathered on the outside on purpose to differentiate the Star Wars Retro Collection from the original Kenner figures
