MORE INFORMATION

  • This Black Series Wicket figure was released single carded in late February 2023
  • The figure was part of Hasbro's celebration of the 40th anniversary of Return Of The Jedi in 2023
  • Wicket came with six accessories, a cowl, a bow and arrow, two different clubs and a spear
  • The cowl fits tightly over Wicket's head and its easily removable if you choose to do so
  • All the included weapons fit well into Wicket's hands
  • The arrow fits only loosely into the bow and as soon as the figure is moved around it's likely to fall out
  • Hasbro painted the Ewok well and there are different shades of brown on the fur
  • The weapons looks very clean and a little bit of weathering would have been nice to see on them
  • Wicket has the correct height and stands much shorter than a regular Black Series 6" figure
  • This version of Wicket turned out well overall, but at $24.99 plus tax/shipping it feels overpriced for such a small figure
  • The Ewok stands well on display, looks cute, holds the weapons well, and most importantly looks like Wicket from Return Of The Jedi (oh, and the packaging looks great too!)
  • One has to wonder however why Hasbro included two random clubs and a bow with arrow when Wicket was never seen using these weapons, and the only plausible explanation for their inclusion is that they could possibly be repurposed for future yet-to-be-announced Ewoks. This approach is sad to see when you compare it to the 3 3/4" Vintage Collection Wicket where the Hasbro Star Wars team in 2010 included an extra hood which was based on the 80s animated TV series. That way collectors could display either the movie or the tv version. Obviously a hood like that couldn't be re-used because it's Wicket specific, but it felt as if Hasbro had a collector-first mentality back then which doesn't feel is the case currently in the Black Series 6" line. The inclusion of these random accessories are not a deal breaker, Wicket turned out great, but a similar approach to the 3 3/4" figure from 13 years ago would have been preferred
