• This Chewbacca figure was released single carded in May 2023
• Chewie was part of Hasbro's celebration of Return Of The Jedi's 40th anniversary and was released in vintage Kenner-inspired packaging
• For the card art Hasbro unfortunately decided to use one which was used during the original vintage Kenner days in 1983/1984 instead of giving the figure a scene accurate one based on Jabba's Palace
• The figure was kit-bashed, which means Hasbro used existing and new parts for it
• The head is entirely new and the chain around the neck is part of the sculpt and not removable
• The bandolier can easily be taken off the figure
• Chewbacca's bowcaster consists of three parts, the body, the scope and the front piece
• All three parts fit well together but the front part of the bowcaster might come off a few times when the figure is repositioned
• Chewie can hold the weapon well in the right hand
• Hasbro painted the figure well with lots of different shades of brown on the fur
• The head sculpt looks nice with the fluffy and freshly shampooed hair and Peter Mayhew's blue eyes
• The eyes don't have the photo real print, likely due to the eyes being further inside the head than on human characters which makes it more difficult or impossible to apply the print
• Chewbacca stands about 1 1/2 to 2 heads taller than a basic 6 inch Star Wars figure (impressive!)
• The mighty Wookiee stands well on display despite its height
• And remember folks, Wookiee is spelled with two ee!
