• This Chewbacca figure was released in March 2023 packed-in with the AT-ST Scout Walker
• The set was only available through the Fan Channel (specialty online shops, comic book stores etc...)
• The figure is a straight repack of the Chewbacca figure from 2015, which originated in 2004 (VOTC Chewbacca)
• The biggest difference between this 2023 release and the original 2004 figure is the slightly different paint application on the body and the bowcaster (it is all black whereas the 2004 version had a differently painted strap and bowcaster body), along with peg holes in the bottom of the feet (the original 2004 figure didn't have any peg holes)

• Chewie's bandolier is not removable, it's glued onto the figure's left shoulder
• Chewbacca stands about 1 1/2 taller than a regular 3 3/4 inch Star Wars action figure
• The 2-piece Bowcaster fits OK into Chewie's left hand
• Chewbacca has no balancing issues and stands well on display
• The joints in this version of Chewbacca are very well hidden and Hasbro managed to capture Peter Mayhew's likeness nicely in this sculpt, there is just something about the way the figure leans slightly to the side which looks nice
• Unfortunately Hasbro didn't adjust the peg color in Chewbacca's shoulders to match the darker fur and it looks distractingly off
• Even though this Chewbacca figure still looks good on display we are ready for an update since the original figure was released about 19 years ago as of this database entry
