MORE INFORMATION

  • Clone Commander Jesse was released single boxed exclusively through Walmart in July 2023
  • This version of Clone Commander Jesse is a realistic interpretation of the cartoon character from the Clone Wars animated TV series
  • The figure came with two small blasters and a removable helmet
  • The blasters fit well into the holsters
  • Only Jesse's right hand was given an index finger which can be placed onto the blaster's trigger
  • Jesse can hold all the weapons OK in the left hand but not as good as in his right hand
  • The shoulder pauldron and the backpack are not removable from the figure
  • Even though Jesse has butterfly and ball-jointed shoulders the arms can't go higher than 90° because of the shoulder pauldron
  • Commander Jesse in the Clone Wars series didn't appear to have a range-finder on his helmet but the figure has one
  • The waist kama is not removable
  • The figure's sculpt looks outstanding with a good looking head sculpt
  • The paint application unfortunately feels lackluster, all the weapons are simply black plastic (as are the pouches on the waist karma) and the figure could have benefited from a dirty wash on the armor and some battle markings
  • Clone Wars Jesse had blue stripes on the sides of the helmet which are missing here on the figure
  • Even though there is a splash of grey on the boots the version in the Clone Wars seemed to have almost entirely grey boots and not mostly white ones like the figure
  • All in all, Clone Commander Jesse is a cool looking figure and a must-have for Clone Wars fans, but with a more accurate paint application on the helmet, some dirt on the armor and more included accessories/weapons than just two small blasters this figure could have made it into the all time greats Black Series figures
