This Black Series Darth Vader (Duel's End) figure was released exclusively through Target in October 2023
The figure captures Darth Vader's look after fighting Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi tv series
Hasbro included a lightsaber hilt, a red blade and a removable soft-goods robe with Darth Vader
You can attach the saber hilt to a hook on the belt, but the experience is somewhat lacking due to the hook's small size and the tendency of the robe's soft fabric to obstruct and dislodge the hilt from the hook
The red blade attaches nicely to the lightsaber hilt
Darth Vader can hold the lightsaber well in both hands
Even though there is a fully sculpted Anakin Skywalker head sculpt underneath the helmet, the helmet can't be taken off
The damaged and sliced through chest box looks cool
Small details such as the smaller chin vent (smaller than the Empire Strikes Back helmet) and the pointy widow peak on the helmet were captured in the sculpt
The head sculpt with the battle damaged helmet looks very nice
The inner soft-goods robe has a slit in the back
The outer soft-goods robe has a hole in the back and various tears along the bottom edge
Where this figure unfortunately lacks however is with the paint application, this figure looks like it came fresh off the assembly line with all clean clothing when it should capture how beat up and dirty Darth Vader was after fighting with Obi-Wan
This version of Darth Vader, like many other Black Series figures recently, had very loose ankle joints which made it difficult to pose properly without having the figure fall over
