Astromech droid R3-R8NW was released in May 2024 exclusively through Disney Parks and DisneyStore.com
The droid was released to celebrate Pride month in 2024 and was painted in rainbow colors
For this droid Disney used the build-a-droid sculpt which means the droid can be broken apart into the dome, two outer legs, the body and the middle leg
There are no hidden gadgets or panels on the body which can be opened and there were no accessories included
All three feet have small wheels in the bottom so each droid can be moved around manually
The middle leg can be unplugged, this way the droid can be displayed in a three or two legged position
Once the dome is removed you'll see that the inner workings on the droid were painted silver, giving it a mechanical look
R3-R8NW stands very securely on display without losing balance
