• This Darth Maul figure was a San Diego Comic Con exclusive in July 2024
• After the convention Hasbro sold this Darth Maul set through their HasbroPulse.com website
• The set was released in 1999 Episode 1 toyline inspired packaging to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace
• The figure was packed together with Darth Maul's Bloodfin vehicle and a Probe Droid
• In addition to the Probe Droid, the vehicle, and its display stand, Hasbro has included Darth Maul's binoculars, a removable soft-goods robe, a double-bladed lightsaber, and a wrist communicator
• Darth Maul can wield the double-bladed lightsaber securely in both hands
• The red blades can be detached from their hilts, allowing you to display Darth Maul with the weapon activated or deactivated
• The lightsaber hilts can be taken apart into two different hilts
• There is a hole in the belt where the lightsaber hilt can be plugged in
• While the soft-goods robe may initially seem bulky, with a bit of adjustment, it can be made to drape elegantly on the figure
• If you prefer to display Darth Maul without the robe, it can be easily removed
• The hood is thoughtfully stitched to lie flat atop Darth Maul's head for a sleek look
• The binoculars are a good size to fit well in both of Darth Maul's hands
• The wrist communicator snaps neatly onto Darth Maul's wrist
• The head sculpt and paintwork on this Darth Maul figure are exceptional, capturing his menacing appearance perfectly
• The Bloodfin vehicle is nicely detailed and makes a striking visual impact on display (there aren't that many world-building items in the Black Series line so this is a welcome addition)
• Darth Maul fits seamlessly onto the seat, looking fantastic as he rides the Bloodfin
• The display stand for the vehicle can slightly be tilted to either side adding variety to the way it can be displayed
• There are no removable panels or hidden gadgets in the vehicle but it's possible to move the handles up and down
• The Bloodfin was painted well and Hasbro even gave it a subtle wash
• It's easy to recommend this entire set, the Darth Maul figure turned out nicely, there are a ton of accessories included for a variety of different display options, and the vehicle looks outstanding
