• This BX Commando Droid was released single boxed in April 2025
• BX Commando Droid were seen throughout the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series
• This figure is a realistic interpretation of the cartoon character
• Hasbro included two weapons with this Commando Droid, a regular Droid blaster and an energy sword
• Both weapons fits perfectly into the BX Commando Droid's hands
• The energy sword was nicely sculpted, but the entirely unpainted big weapon looks unrealistic, comical and out of place for an action figure line geared towards adult collectors
• There is a hole in the back of the droid where the energy sword can be plugged in and stored
• The BX Commando Droid was sculpted well with nicely hidden joints, it's one of the most articulated figures we've seen in recent times in the Black Series 6" line
• There is subtle weathering around the upper chest, arms, wrists, legs, head and the front of the shins (nice!)
• The back of the figure however was kept entirely clean
• Fortunately, this BX Commando Droid is lightweight, and the firm ankle joints allow for a wide range of dynamic and battle-ready poses
• It took Hasbro a long time to deliver this droid for the Separatist forces, and they delivered a very cool and functional version of the BX Commando Droid
• The biggest issue with this figure is the utterly lackluster looking energy sword and the somewhat abrupt and very clean/plastic looking back of the figure
