• Astromech Droid R6-D23 was released single carded on August 9th, 2024 exclusively through the Marketplace at the D23 convention in Anaheim, California
• The droid was later made available through DisneyStore.com on August 12th, 2024 at 8am PT
• R6-D23 doesn't exist in the Star Wars universe, this droid is simply a commemorative droid to celebrate D23
• For this droid Disney used the build-a-droid sculpt which means the droid can be broken apart into the dome, two outer legs, the body and the middle leg
• There are no hidden gadgets or panels on the body which can be opened
• The sorcerer's hat can be plugged into a hole in the top of the dome
• All three feet have small wheels in the bottom so each droid can be moved around manually
• The middle leg can be unplugged, this way the droid can be displayed in a three or two legged position
• Once the dome is removed you'll see that the inner workings were painted in a very reflective blue color, which looks cool
• R6-D23 stands very securely on display without losing balance
