MORE INFORMATION

  • Pirate Captain Brutus (Port Borgo) was released in November 2024 as part of the very first wave of Black Series figures from the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew tv series
  • Captain Brutus came with five different pirate pistols, all of which the figure can hold tightly in its hands
  • There are three holsters on the harness and two on the belt, all of them are functional and can hold the weapons tightly (some are a very tight fit but they'll fit!)
  • Captain Brutus' hands are difficult to spread apart but it's doable and once you've done it the pistols fit into the hands very nicely
  • Even though the upper body armor and the kama around the waist are individually sculpted plastic pieces they are not removable from the figure (unless you take the figure apart completely)
  • Hasbro painted Captain Brutus well, but they could have done more to make some of the sculpted details pop better
  • There is some dirt applied to the bottom of the kama but the rest of the figure looks very clean
  • The pistols were painted nicely, some have golden highlights and wooden grips (nice!)
  • The head sculpt looks phenomenal and gives off Big Bad Wolf vibes
  • Captain Brutus had very stiff ankle joints which made it easy to pose
  • At the time of this figure's release we don't know anything about this character yet, but the figure looks awesome, and fingers crossed Hasbro will release more pirates from the Skeleton Crew tv series in the Black Series line!
