MORE INFORMATION

This Jawa figure was released in July 2009 in the basic Clone Wars figure assortment together with another Jawa figure. Hasbro gave the Jawa a blaster and a removable bandolier with holster. You will need to carefully pop the head off the Jawa in order to get the bandolier off, but it works. The blaster sits a bit loose in the Jawa's hands and fits better into left than the right hand.

The figure is in the correct scale, and a bit taller than the other Jawa figure included in this set. Even though the figure is quite small, Hasbro managed to add quite a few joints, like ball-jointed shoulders, ball-jointed elbows, two swivel wrists, a swivel waist, and two swivel ankles. You can also move the head left and right. The Jawa's legs are molded individually, but due to the hard-plastic clothes you can't move them. The figure stands very securely on it's own and doesn't need additional support.

The only thing the figure is lacking is a nicer paint application. The paint is applied nicely, but it could have used some Tatooine dirt on the feet or some weathering on the clothes. All in all though, this is a nice figure which looks just like the character in the Clone Wars animated show!

PACKAGING TEXT

These Tatooine scavengers hunt for lost or abandoned equipment, machinery, droids, even star fighters that appear unoccupied. Jawas look almost identical to outsiders, but among each other, they easily identify differences in lineage, health and other details.
