MORE INFORMATION

This Clone Commander Faie figure was released in The Legacy Collection's wave 5 in 2008, and it's based on concept art by David J+ñger which was developed for Revenge Of The Sith.

The figure is has 14 joints, and with knee and ankle articulation you won't have any balancing issues. The trooper came with a removable helmet, a removable soft-goods tunic, a blaster and a removable plastic hood. The blaster fits ok into both of the trooper's hands and the helmet is a great fit, covering the entire head. The tunic looks nice, but it might have a too shiny, silky look when compared to the concept art. However, it fits well, and doesn't feel too bulky. The removable hood is quite big and can be placed over the helmet. Since the hood is supposed to be part of the tunic, it's unclear if Hasbro succeeded with their approach to make the hood an individual piece and a different material (plastic versus soft-goods). It almost feels a bit out of place.

The paint application is cleanly applied, but you won't find any battle damage or dirt on the armor or the helmet. All in all, this Commander Faie figure is an interesting concept figure with super articulation and a cool look.
