• Astromech Droid R2-DL70 was released in July 2025 just in time for the 70th anniversary of Disneyland in Anaheim, CA
• For this figure Disney used the popular Build-A-Droid sculpt where the figure can be taken apart into the dome, two outer legs, the middle leg and the body
• There were no accessories included with R2-DL70
• The droid was painted in Disney 70th anniversary colors
• There are no panels or hidden gadgets in the droid
• R2-DL70 stands well on display without falling over
• The droid was easy to get in the parks and it was available on DisneyStore.com for several weeks
