• Astromech Droid R5-K6 was released single carded on January 2nd, 2026 for $16.99 (an error which was corrected a day later to $19.99)
• R5-K6 serves as the astromech in Garven Dreis’ X-wing during the Battle of Yavin, with Dreis flying as Red Leader (Red One) and commanding Red Squadron
• This droid was the first droid in the build-a-droid series in 2026, which included a total of six droids
• R5-K6 utilizes Disney's popular build-a-droid sculpt with updated feet (the cables are back for more accuracy)
• The droid can be taken apart into the dome, two outer legs, one middle leg and the dome
• The innerworkings underneath R5-K6's dome were painted silver (nice)
• There are no removable parts or panels which can be opened on the droid (the front looks as if the arms can be extended, but that's not the case unfortunately)
• Disney painted the droid nicely and the color tone and the different markings appear to be accurate to the behind-the-scenes images of the droid
• The dome has a hole in it where accessories from other Disney droids can be plugged in
• R5-K6 stands securely on display, either in a two or three legged position
