MORE QT-KT INFO

  • Released single carded on March 6, 2026, QT-KT arrived as the third Disney Store Build-A-Droid release of the year and retailed for $19.99 before tax and shipping, which pushed the total in some parts of the United States to more than $33 for this figure
  • Despite the price tag, QT-KT proved to be a very popular release at launch and sold out within the first hour on DisneyStore.com
  • The droid was featured in Geroge Lucas' The Clone Wars animated series, originally it served Jedi Master Aayla Secura and later became part of Colonel Meebur Gascon’s D Squad
  • Collectors will need all six figures in the series to complete Protocol Droid TC-332, and QT-KT includes the extra right arm needed for that build
  • For this release, Disney used the popular Build A Droid astromech sculpt and slightly updated it with cables on the front of the feet, which is a welcome improvement
  • There are no opening panels on the body, but the figure can be separated into the dome, the middle leg, and the two outer legs
  • Because the middle leg is removable, QT-KT can be displayed either in a moving pose with all three legs extended or in a stationary pose with only the two outer legs on the ground
  • The dome rotates 360 degrees and features a hole at the top where accessories from other compatible figures can be attached
  • When the dome is removed, the interior reveals nicely painted silver mechanical details
  • The figure has no balancing issues, the paint applications are clean, and the color tones match the Clone Wars appearance
  • Overall, QT-KT is a well executed Disney Store Droid Factory release, and nice addition to the collection
