MORE Commander Doom INFO

  • Clone Commander Doom for the Black Series line was revealed by Hasbro during a May The Fourth 2026 livestream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel
  • Commander Doom was released exclusively by Target in the middle of July 2026
  • This release of Commander Doom is a character debut in Hasbro's Black Series 6" line
  • The figure is a realistic interpretation of Commander Doom's appearance in the Clone Wars animated series
  • Hasbro only included two hand blaster pistols with the figure
  • Both weapons fit well into the trooper's hands and they can be stored nicely in the holsters
  • There are no removable parts on Commander Doom's armor
  • The belt is a separately sculpted part but it can't be taken off the figure
  • The soft-goods kama looks cool and it allows for the legs to be posed nicely
  • There is no human head underneath the helmet
  • The paint application looks good on this figure with subtle weathering on the boots and some heavier scuffs on the chest armor
  • The back of the figure looks very clean and the upper back armor has many unpainted details unfortunately
  • The figure stood securely while taking the pics for this figure entry
  • All in all, a character debut is always welcome, and this version of Commander Doom turned out well, make sure to add it to your collection
  • While researching Commander Doom we stumbled upon a few interesting tidbits: Clone Commander Doom appears in The Clone War animated series in “The Unknown” from the first episode of Season 6, which is his only full appearance. He serves alongside the twin Jedi Masters Tiplar and Tiplee during the Battle of Ringo Vinda and leads a flanking force supported by Fives, Tup, and other clone troopers
  • Doom also appears in “Conspiracy” from Season 6, Episode 2, through flashback footage showing Tiplar’s death
  • Doom’s name is never spoken in the television series. He was officially identified as Clone Commander Doom in supplementary material for the episode
  • His green, gray, and yellow color scheme was designed as a visual reference to Marvel’s Doctor Doom
  • Doom wears heavily battle-damaged Phase II clone armor with a kama, helmet visor, rangefinder, yellow triangular markings, and two blaster pistols. The clone troopers under his command wear similar green-and-yellow markings
  • Although Doom has very little screen time, he participates in the battle that begins the inhibitor-chip storyline and eventually leads Fives to uncover the truth behind Order 66
