This Black Series Clone Commander Thorn figure was revealed by Hasbro during a live stream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel on May The Fourth 2026
Commander Thorn was released in the middle of July single boxed exclusively at Target stores
The figure is a realistic interpretation of the Clone Wars animated character
Hasbro included three weapons with the figure, two hand blasters and Commander Thorn's signature Hammer Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon
The Z-6 consists of three parts, the body, the barrel and the grip
The weapon is light-weight enough so that the figure can hold it well without losing the balance, but it will take some time to pose it just right
The Z-6 Hammer is nicely detailed and Hasbro painted it well
We've seen the two included hand blasters numerous times included with Clone Trooper figures over the years, so there are no surprises here ... they are still entirely unpainted black plastic
Both blaster pistols fit well into the holsters
The soft-goods kama is not removable from the figure
Both shoulder bells are made out of soft plastic and they'll move out of the way when the arms are raised
There is no human head underneath the helmet
The knee pads are individually sculpted parts and can be moved around, but they are not removable
There are no removable parts on the armor
The visor and the antenna on Commander Thorn's helmet are not removable
Commander Thorn was kept in entirely pristine condition by Hasbro without any battle damage, dirt or weathering on it
The figure stands very well on display without falling over
