• This four-pack of BDX Droids was released on May the Fourth, 2026 exclusively through Disney Parks and DisneyStore.com for fans of the upcoming The Mandalorian And Grogu movie
• The set includes four BDX droids which are structurally identical and differ only through their individual color schemes
• BDX Droid (red), BDX Droid (green) and BDX Droid (blue)
• No accessories were included with the BDX droids for interaction or display purposes
• Unlike build-a-droid Droid Factory figures, these BDX droids are not designed to be taken apart and swapped with other components
• While both legs can be unplugged and the dome can technically be removed, removing the dome is not recommended because it is attached to a very thin joint which could easily break
• We tested the dome removal on one of the BDX droids and nearly damaged the figure permanently in the process
• The antennas on the dome are static and feature no movable articulation
• There is a small port located on the top of the dome which allows accessories from previous Disney releases to be plugged into the figure
• There are no removable or opening panels featured anywhere on the body of the BDX droids
• The dome can be rotated a full 360 degrees while the head can also tilt upward and downward for additional posing options
• The legs, knees and ankles have swivel joints which allows for back and forth movement
• Overall, the BDX droids feature fairly limited articulation when compared to other modern 3 3/4-inch Star Wars figures
• The paint applications on all four BDX droids were executed very cleanly
• None of the BDX droids feature any weathering, dirt effects, battle damage, or paint wash applications which gives the figures a very clean appearance
• All things considered, it is exciting to see Disney create entirely new BDX droid figures which have never been done before in the 3 3/4-inch scale
• The biggest downside to the set is the extremely high price point considering that all four BDX droids are simple repaints of the exact same mold
• The retail price for the set was $49.99 before shipping and taxes which pushed the final online purchase price to approximately $65 to $67 depending on the buyer’s location within the United States
• Even with the limited articulation featured on the BDX droids, we did not experience any balancing or standing issues while displaying the figures
